The Story…
We originally set out to be a local company for local customers. Two and a half years ago we sold some flapjacks at an event to a lady from Suffolk. She rang us a few weeks later and asked us if we could send them by mail. With the rising number of special diet cakes needed in the UK, it seemed a natural progression to start selling these for mail order too. Recently we have noticed a lot of people purchasing our cakes and sending them to friends and relatives as gifts. The rest is mail order history!
The Order Process…
First get in touch and tell us what you want (we can post most things apart from big cakes!) We will confirm your order and send you the payment details (Paypal, credit cards, debit cards, cheques and postal orders). Once we receive your payment we will freshly bake your purchase. We add a card with an eat by date and storage instructions. On this card we can also add a gift message. We then wrap it, box it and send it by First Class Royal Mail, where you will receive it 1-2 days after we dispatch it. If it is imperitive that the cake arrives for a certain day, we can send using Royal Mail Guarunteed by 1pm Delivery for a small extra charge.
Cakes are wrapped in foil or clingfilm, then in tissue paper, then in bubble wrap before being mailed in a posting box. Proof of postage is always obtained
The Time Frame…
If you order and pay before 12pm, we will bake the same day and post the next day. If you order or pay after 12pm, we will treat the order as if it was received it the next day. If you need a cake for a specific day, please give us some notice if you can.
